Order Cancellation Policy

Orders can be canceled within 1 hour of purchase, or at any time before the order has been processed. Once an order has been processed it can no longer be canceled, due to the logistics structure of the business.

If we are able to cancel your order but a shipping label has already been created, a $10 charge applies to cover the cost of the label.

Refund Policy

Testers and gift boxes are not eligible for returns.

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

The return label is paid by the customer returning the item, and this cost is non-refundable.

All returns are subject to a $10 or 15% restocking fee (depending on item cost) to cover shipping and operational costs.

Products will be verified by our staff before the stated refund amount is issued.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Any fragrance that has been used is not eligible for return — using the fragrance automatically makes it non-returnable and non-refundable.

Items with the original seal or plastic removed, opened, broken, or tampered with are not eligible for a refund.

Items in good condition that were used, where the buyer simply does not like the scent, longevity, or quality of the authentic product, are not eligible for a refund.

Lost or stolen items marked as delivered by the carrier are not eligible for a refund.

Please contact us before sending any product back. Items sent to us without an approved return request will not be accepted and are subject to a 50% fee.

If your return is accepted, we will send instructions on how and where to send your package. You can always contact us with any return question at info@pertinaciaperfume.com.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You have 14 days from receiving the item to request a return or refund for damage claims.

To start the process, please take videos of the cologne, the box, and the shipping package as evidence. Video is required — photos alone cannot be accepted, to protect against fraud.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as perishable goods (food, flowers, plants), custom products (special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (beauty products). We also cannot accept returns of hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. If you make a new purchase, please send the receipt via email.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging, with the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know whether the refund was approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Important Information

The buyer is responsible for the shipping cost of the returned item; shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund total, depending on the scenario.

Depending on where you live, the time it takes for an exchanged product to reach you may vary.

When shipping a return, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance — without tracking, shipping problems can delay or prevent your refund.

A Note on Blind Buying

Buying fragrance online is, by nature, largely a "blind buy." By completing a purchase, the buyer accepts responsibility for the item, including the possibility of being dissatisfied with the scent or having different expectations. Pertinacia LLC is not responsible or liable for subjective expectations or interpretations of a product, other than for broken or damaged products as covered above. By placing an order you accept this cancellation and refund policy in full.

Fraudulent Claims

False claims of broken or missing items are documented and may be pursued through legal channels. This protects honest customers and keeps our prices low.
